Decorate any table top by making these “thanks” jars with your grandkids. It’s a great way to reuse your empty baby food jars. It will add the perfect touch of Thanksgiving fun to your house. This can seem like such a simple project but it is a great way to get your little ones involved. Even if it’s not with painting the letters they can always help paint the jar and feel like they contributed. It’s a great way to give your grandkids a sense of pride that they helped decorate your house with something that they made!
With many little ones running around the house, we always have plenty of puree jars leftover. Even if your children have graduated to mac-n-cheese and fish sticks, you can still use jam, sauce, or pickle jars. Created with just two simple steps, this craft makes a gorgeous Thanksgiving table centerpiece or provides the opportunity to enjoy a chilly fall evening indoors with your favorite junior artists.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN SPENDING TIME WITH MY GRANDKIDS MAKING THESE THANKS JARS. HERE IS WHAT I USED TO MAKE THEM:
- Six empty baby food jars
- Burgundy and gold paint
- Fake leaves
Start by painting the jars burgundy. Let them dry and then right THANKS across the jars.

Add some fake leaves to the inside of the jars and you are done! It is such an easy way to spice up your home this Thanksgiving while giving your grandkids and even you a feeling of accomplishment.
