CREATE A BEAUTIFUL VALENTINE MOSAIC HEART WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- Valentine scraps of fabric, felt, or paper
- card stock
- basic crafting supplies
Mosaic Valentine’s Heart – Step 1

Start by folding a piece of card stock in half and draw a half of a heart. Cut out the heart.
Mosaic Valentine’s Heart – Step 2

On the back write a Valentine message, sign it, and date it.
Mosaic Valentine’s Heart – Step 3

Have small scraps of paper, fabric, and/or felt in pink, red, and white colors already cut up and in a pile. They should be about 1″ in shape. This does not have to be perfect, it is supposed to look like stain glass, so make different sizes and shapes with the fabric. Have the children glue on the fabric squares one by one over lapping each of them.
Mosaic Valentine’s Heart – Step 4

Finish gluing all of the fabric scraps on the heart. You can leave it the way it is, or put a magnet strip on the back to use as a magnet. You can also put a hole in the top with a hole puncher and hang the hearts in your class room.
Your Mosaic Valentine’s Heart is now done and I hope you had fun making it with your little ones!
