How to Use Cardboard To Make a Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft

My grandkids had so much fun painting and putting together this pumpkin with a top hat. The best part is that it was made completely out of cardboard! We even named it Mr. Darcy the pumpkin! Mr. Darcy will look great hanging up anywhere this Halloween.

WE LOVED MAKING OUR CARDBOARD PUMPKIN WITH A TOP HAT AND YOU WILL TOO! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE OURS:

  • Cardboard
  • Orange and Black Paint
  • Fabric Bows
  • Accessories for Top Hat
  • Yarn/Twin
  • Hole Puncher
  • Basic Arts and Crafts Supplies

Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft – Step 1

Start by tracing and cutting out all your pumpkin pieces from cardboard. Feel free to use our free Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft Pattern! (1st Page) (2nd Page)

Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft – Step 2

Next you are going to have your little ones paint all of there pumpkin pieces. We made the pumpkin orange and the top hat and facial features black. Let these pieces dry.

Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft – Step 3

Now you are going to glue on all of your facial features and top hat. As well as the bow and any extra accessories you want to add. Make sure to write your little ones name on it so that their work is signed.

Then you are going to hole punch the top of your top hat and tie a piece of string to each side so that you can hang it up.

Your Mr. Darcy Pumpkin Craft is now finished and ready to be hung up this Halloween!
