
Welcome Spring and Summer and hang this pretty flower sun catcher craft in the window. It is easily made using tissue paper and recycled toilet paper rolls.

CREATE A BEAUTIFUL SUN CATCHER THAT LOOKS LIKE A FLOWER WITH YOUR LITTLE ONES! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- about 4 toilet paper rolls or about 2 paper towel rolls
- pink and yellow tissue paper
- pink and yellow paint (child-safe, non toxic)
- ribbon or yarn
- basic arts & crafts supplies

Start by cutting the toilet paper rolls in half. Poke a small hole in the side of one of the halves.

Paint six of the rolls pink. Paint the remaining roll yellow. Let dry.

Then cut six squares of pink tissue paper, and one of yellow tissue paper. Glue the squares onto the paper towel rolls at the end as shown.

Once dry, trim off the excess tissue paper as shown.

Next glue the rolls together into the shape of a flower with the yellow roll in the center.

Make sure you put the one with hole facing out.

Finally tie on a piece of yarn or ribbon using the hole you made.
