I am always doing crafts with my grandkids and this painted pumpkin is one way I can craft with the youngest member of our family. This Pumpkin craft is super simple to make and is perfect for any little kids!

WE LOVE THIS PAINTED PUMPKIN AND YOU WILL TOO! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:

  • yellow construction paper
  • orange, green, and black paint
  • raffia
  • big ziplock bag
  • pumpkin picture
  • basic arts and crafts supplies

Feel free to use our free pumpkin picture!

Painted Pumpkin – Step 1

Start by placing your printed out pumpkin picture in a big ziplock bag. Feel free to use our free pumpkin picture! After that place orange, green, and black paint blobs all around the pumpkin like in the photo above.

Painted Pumpkin – Step 2

Then seal the ziplock and go ahead and let your little one smudge the paint all around.

Painted Pumpkin – Step 3

Now you are going to let the paint dry and cut out your painted pumpkin picture. Glue the pumpkin onto a yellow piece of construction paper and add a little bit of raffia at the top. Finally sign your babies name and age at the bottom.

Your painted pumpkin picture is now finished and ready to be displayed!
