HAVE YOUR GRANDKIDS MAKE ADORABLE FLOWERS FOR MOM FOR MOTHER’S DAY! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- 3 green pipe cleaners
- 3 pipe cleaners in colors of your choice
- 3 plastic pony beads
- Easter grass or craft moss
- styrofoam cup
- plastic jewels
- glue and loose glitter or glitter glue
- basic arts & crafts supplies
Pipe Cleaner Flowers – Step 1
To start your flowers slide a bead onto a pipe cleaner, to the center. Then bend the ends of the pipe cleaner and push them through the bead, forming two loops for petals.
Pipe Cleaner Flowers – Step 2
Next bend the two ends of another pipe cleaner again and push them into the bead, forming two more petals.
Pipe Cleaner Flowers – Step 3
Now you are going to cut the green pipe cleaners in half. Push the end of one half into the bead to form a stem. After that take the other half of the green pipe cleaner and twist it around the stem. Bend it into the shape of a leaf and twist closed.
Pipe Cleaner Flowers – Step 4
Stuff the cup with Easter grass or craft moss. Push the flowers into the grass. Decorate the cup with glitter glue. As well as gluing on plastic jewels. Finally use a marker and write a Mother’s Day message on the cup.
