Here is a lovely craft for Mother’s Day, it makes a wonderful keepsake of your child handprint. Plus it will look beautiful with a paper hand holding paper flowers.

THIS HAND HOLDING BOUQUET WILL BE THE PERFECT KEEPSAKE TO GIFT FOR MOTHER’S DAY! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:

  • white, yellow, green, pink, and purple construction paper
  • basic arts & crafts supplies

Paper Hand with Bouquet – Step 1

First trace your child’s handprint, including the wrist and part of the forearm on the white construction paper. Then cut it out. After that glue the handprint onto a piece of yellow construction paper. Be sure to glue only the arm and palm of the handprint down, leaving the fingers unglued.

Paper Hand with Bouquet – Step 2

Draw three stems and some leaves on the green construction paper and cut them out. Glue the stems into the palm of the hand, glue on the leaves.

Paper Hand with Bouquet – Step 3

Next draw three flowers on the pink and purple paper and cut them out. Cut out some small circles from yellow construction paper for the center of the flowers, or you can use 3 yellow pompoms. Glue on the flowers and the center of the flowers.

Paper Hand with Bouquet – Step 4

Last fold the fingers over the stems and glue down the fingertips to hold them in place. Have your child write a message to mom and date it to make it even more special!

You now have a beautiful homemade Mother’s Day gift from your little ones!
