
Want to make some fun green and gold St. Patty’s Day decorations with your kids or grandkids?
Your in Luck if your child makes you this pretty green and gold Saint Patrick’s day center piece! It’s bright and cheerful colors bring out the Irish in all of us with the green glitter clovers and the yellow and white daisies. This is the perfect craft to make with your grandkids to spend time this St.Patrick’s Day. This is also a great way to repurpose empty baby food jars, or recycle a used mason or pickle jar!

THIS ST. PATRICK’S DAY LUCKY CENTER PIECE IS THE PERFECT CHARMING DECORATION TO MAKE WITH YOUR GRANDKIDS! HERE IS WHAT WE USED TO MAKE IT:
- empty large baby food jar, or mason jar cleaned and label removed
- sticks from outside, cut to fit in the baby food jar
- natural raffia jute rope or raffia works great for the tie
- brown or black craft paint (chalk paint works best to cover glass, but folk art is fine too)
- green and gold glitter
- green, yellow, and white construction paper
- craft glue
- basic arts and crafts supplies

First paint the outside of the baby food jar brown or black, set aside to dry.

Draw and cut out 3 leaf clovers from green paper. Spread a thin layer of glue on them, then sprinkle on green glitter. Set aside to dry.

Cut out three circles from white paper, and three slightly smaller circles from yellow paper. The yellow circles should fit in the center s of the white circles. Glue the yellow circles onto the center of the white circles. Cut the edges of the white circles in a fringe. Spread a thin layer of glue onto the yellow circles, then sprinkle on gold glitter. Set aside to dry.

Glue or tape the ends of the flowers and the clovers to ends of the sticks or branches you found from outside. Arrange them in the painted jar.
Finally, tie a piece of natural raffia or jute rope around the neck of the painted baby food jar and into a bow in the front.
